Join In as Liangzhu Promoters: The Belt and Road Initiative "Liangzhu·World Civilization Dialogue" were successfully held

The global recruitment campaign for "Liangzhu Promoters" is in full swing. We sincerely invite friends from all over the world who love Liangzhu civilization to explore Liangzhu, discover Liangzhu, and promote Liangzhu together, to showcase the charm of Chinese civilization, to inspire new elements and creativity in the dialogue between different civilizations, and to inject new vitality into the exchange and mutual learning of world civilizations.



Since the launch of the event, it has attracted extensive attention and active participation from young people from many countries, including Greece, Portugal, the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Belarus, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, etc. Through online questionnaire tests on the history, art, and archaeological discoveries of Liangzhu civilization, we selected a group of "Liangzhu Promoters" who are interested in and knowledgeable about Liangzhu civilization and issued certificates . Some "Liangzhu Promoters" participated in the filming of the documentary "Liangzhu·Dialogue of World Civilizations" and thematic short videos, jointly recording the exchanges and integration of Liangzhu civilization with different civilizations around the world , the mutual understanding and affinity between the Chinese and foreign people, and exploring the world significance and common value of Liangzhu civilization.

Civilizations are colorful because of exchanges and enriched by mutual learning. Recently, the Belt and Road "Liangzhu·World Civilization Dialogue" cultural exchange and communication series of activities were successfully held in Portugal and Greece. The activity took the "Belt and Road" countries as the main line and the exchange between Liangzhu civilization and different civilizations in the world as the theme to promote the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations. It carried out the "Why Liangzhu" Liangzhu civilization theme exhibition, the "Liangzhu·World Civilization Dialogue" exchange salon, the "Liangzhu One Day·World Civilization Dialogue" youth experience activity, and the recruitment of "Liangzhu Promotion Officers" and other activities, which were widely welcomed by the cultural circles, academic circles, local media and young students of the two countries. During the event, 12 overseas young students were awarded the "Liangzhu Promotion Officer" certificate in recognition of their efforts in promoting Liangzhu culture. Representatives of the "Liangzhu Promotion Officers" shared their cultural experiences and insights around the theme of "Youth Join Hands to Create a Better Future" and exchanged civilized gifts.

The event was hosted by the Information Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and Zhejiang Radio and Television Group, and undertaken by the Overseas Center (International Channel) of Zhejiang Radio and Television Group. It received strong support from the Chinese Embassy in Portugal, the Chinese Embassy in Greece, the University of Lisbon, Portugal, and Aristotle University of Greece.
